The first and now legendary birthday edition of Steve Harris’ book sold out in just 1 day. At the time, Steve Harris was celebrating his 55th birthday and only 55 copies of the book were in print. The 66th birthday anniversary edition sold out in one day as well. This 70th birthday anniversary edition is printed in 70 numbered copies and again, like the 66th anniversary edition, it contains some new interviews, which will give this book a new dimension and reveal some new things. For the first time ever, you’ll be able to read an exclusive interview with Chop Pitman (Airforce), Steve’s friend from the earliest days, who revealed some very interesting details about their friendship over the years. An equally interesting interview comes from Dave Smith (Gyspy’s Kiss), who also brings us a wealth of information from the earliest days of Maiden and his friendship with Steve, and for the very end, we’ve prepared a conversation with Joe Lazarus, where in one of the rare interviews he talks about some things that many Maiden fans would like to know.

My goal in this book is to get a look at Steve as a man and a friend from all aspects, find out some amazing stories that only his friends, family members and no one else knows and show why Steve has been so special since childhood and why fans love him so much.

When I started writing a book about Harris, I wrote it as a fan of the band and Steve, and I got my interlocutors to talk based on my communication skills. However, over the next 15 years, a lot has changed. This book became my bestseller and has been translated into four languages (Croatian, Spanish, Portuguese and English), and even Steve Harris has signed it to many fans. Now the story is rising to an even higher level. When I asked new interlocutors such as Wout or Gino for their interview and when they asked Steve Harris if they could speak for my book, Steve Harris confirmed that there are no problems with that, which is the crown of all my work and writing so far. The man I admire by his move approved my book and made me proud. I promise that the book will continue to be great always with the new interviews every five years.
