Those who call themselves Iron Maiden fans must know about a group of fans from Finland, simply called ‘Crazy Finns’. ‘Crazy Finns’ have become synonymous with a group of traveling fans, who are not afraid to go literally to the ‘end of the world’ to follow their favorite band from city to city on tour. After Stjepan Juras wrote the first book about Maiden fans ‘No Matter How Far’ in 2025, and after him Davide Miotto wrote a book about his own fandom ‘Iron Maiden – The Soundtrack Of My Life’, Harri Linnera and Juhana Koli went one step further and they try to find out what is the inner strength and passion that drives fans to do what is strange and unimaginable to many. The book also includes one of the last interviews with Paul Di’Anno. The book has just been released under the name Maidenventures – Rautaisen Fanituksen Polulla and is only available in Finnish, but an international edition in English is already in preparation and is expected very soon.
